Mark Campbell obtained an MEng with Distinction in Computing and Electronics from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh in 2016. His Master’s thesis investigated the tracking of satellites in Low Earth Orbit from optical sensors. Mark also completed a MSc in Robotics and Autonomous Systems from Heriot-Watt University in 2017, where his thesis focused on telescope image registration using single cluster PHD methods.
Since September 2017, Mark been working as a Research Associate at Heriot-Watt University, under supervision from Dr. Daniel Clark. His work focuses on multi-target tracking and sensor fusion for Space Situational Awareness (SSA).
