Alexey Narykov

PhD Student - Work Package 5 (E_WP5)

Alexey Narykov holds two degrees with distinction in Consumer Electronics and Strategic Management from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (Russia). During his studies, he pursued practical experience in the area of Sensor Systems as an engineer with the St. Petersburg-based Vektor Research Institute. Alexey continued his work in this Institute after his graduation developing ambiguity resolution algorithms for interferometric array systems.

In 2011 he joined the International Research Centre for Telecommunication and Radar at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands). As a part of a national project on Sensor Technology Applied in Reconfigurable Systems, Alexey investigated sensor management algorithms for electronically scanned array radars. In particular he focused on developing sensor quality measures used in decision making for sensor parameter selection.

Since September 2015 he is working on his PhD in Sensor Management under Prof. Yvan Petillot of Heriot-Watt University, and Prof. Mike Davies of University of Edinburgh.

Alexey’s research interests include sensor/signal management, data processing and information theory.
