PhD Student - (E_WP3 & E_WP5)

David Cormack obtained an MEng with Distinction in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh in 2016. His Master’s thesis investigated the tracking of small UAVs and drones at short range using radar. David was also awarded a Watt Club Medal and the IET Prize 2016 for achieving the greatest distinction in his undergraduate degree programme. 
Since September 2016, David has been working towards his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Heriot-Watt University, under supervision from Dr. Daniel Clark and sponsored by Leonardo MW, Edinburgh. His PhD focuses on real-time implementations of tracking and estimation algorithms for radar systems.
