Dr Francisco J Aparicio-Navarro

Research Associate - Work Package 1 (L_WP1)

Francisco J. Aparicio-Navarro received his B.Eng. in Telecommunications Engineering, specialising in Networking from the Technical University of Cartagena, (Murcia) Spain, in 2009. He completed his final year project at High Speed Networks Research Group, funded with an Erasmus scholarship. During the last three years, he has been a Ph.D. student in the School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering, at Loughborough University, UK. His research, funded by EPSRC, focused on the design of a novel automatic and self-adaptive security system, based on multi-layer data fusion architecture, to provide real-time protection to wireless networks against network intrusion attempts and cyber-attacks. He is co-author of 2 journals and 5 conference papers. Currently, Francisco works as Research Associate at Loughborough University.
