PhD Student - Work Package 2 (L_WP2)

Gaia Rossetti is a PhD student in the Signal Processing and Networks Research Group at Loughborough University since October 2014, working under the supervision of Professor Sangarapillai Lambotharan.

She received her BSc and MSc degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from the Italian university of Politecnico di Milano. Additionally, she graduated from the business-oriented programme for engineers from Unitech International. Part of the activities included a semester of academic exchange at Loughborough University and an internship at the glass manufacturing company SCHOTT, in Germany.

The focus of her current research is on developing convex waveform optimization techniques for enhancing the detection performance of cognitive radars in networked battlefield applications.
