Work Package 2 (L_WP2)

Professor Raphael Phan holds the full chair within the Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia, leading a research group of 9 academics and 3 postdocs in the areas of security and cryptography. Prior to joining MMU he worked at Loughborough University UK and EPFL, Switzerland.

Raphael has published in excess of 50 refereed journal papers and 100 conference papers. He is co-designer of the BLAKE hash function, one of the five finalists of the US NIST SHA-3 competition. He is recognized internationally among his security peers for his research and professional activeness; he has been invited to serve in over 100 technical program committees of international security conferences.
