The UDRC-EURASIP Summer School 2019 took place at the Heriot-Watt campus in Edinburgh and was well attended by a plethora of academics, industry professionals and students interested in the field of signal processing for defence. The four day course covered statistical signal processing, sensing and tracking, machine learning, and source separation and beamforming, delivered at masters level. The week was packed with lectures, workshops and social events allowing the delegates to learn and network with peers in their area of interest. The feedback for the event was encouraging with many commenting on the benefits they will take away for their career. We have also had good feedback on useful topics and suggestions for our future summer shcools in our feedback questionaire.
We are pleased that many of the attendees have signed up to our mailing list, LinkedIn group and are interested in engaging with the UDRC community - we look forward to sharing new developments in UDRC research with them.
