The Consortium Team is drawn from the Joint Research Institute in Signal and Image Processing (JRI-SIP) at Edinburgh, a successful collaborative venture in research pooling exploiting complementary skills from the Institute for Digital Communications at the University of Edinburgh (UoE), with the Vision Image and Signal Processing laboratory and the Oceans Systems Laboratory (OSL) at Heriot-Watt University (HWU).  The consortium team brings expertise in signal and image processing from fundamental theoretical and algorithmic work through to its translation to specific radar, sonar, communications and other applications. The Edinburgh Consortium managed by Professor Mike Davies (Edinburgh Consortium Director) and Professor Yvan Petillot (Edinburgh Consortium Deputy Director). Janet Forbes is the UDRC Project Manager.
